Community of Character Service Day

April 1, 2017

Join us for the 17th annual observance of Community of Character Service Day, which brings together residents of all ages for a variety of volunteer and service projects. Started in 2000 by former Mayor Stan Shealy, the event fosters community pride and serves as a constant reminder of the benefits of giving back to your local community.

We have volunteers of all ages from area schools, churches, business, civic groups, and individuals that came out to support a wide range of projects, including area clean ups, beautification, supporting the elderly, helping youth, and feeding the poor.

Please sign up your group with the form below and email to Capt. Troy Crump: by March 20.

We will have a Volunteer Thank You Lunch at noon, Saturday, April 1 for everyone who helped take on a project. The lunch will be held at Crooked Creek Park, 1098 Old Lexington Hwy.
