Public Hearing Notices
The Chapin Board of Zoning Appeals has postponed the regularly scheduled meeting and public hearings on August 26, 2021 to the evening of September 2, 2021 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Chapin Town Hall, which is located at 157 NW Columbia Ave.
1. The purpose of the hearing is to consider Appeals No. 21-08-05-001 submitted by Global Strategies Holding Corp. dba Demobags applying for a special exception review for property located at 300 E Boundary Street, TMS #000720-04-01.
2.The purpose of the hearing is to consider Appeals No. 21-08-05-002 submitted by Paul David Rennison requesting a variance from parking requirements in article 8 section 803(C) of the Chapin Zoning Ordinance for property located at approximately 106 Glenwood Drive, TMS #000717-02-004.
The Chapin Town Council has scheduled Public Hearings on the evening of September 7, 2021 beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Chapin Town Hall, which is located at 157 NW Columbia Ave.
The purpose of the hearing is to consider adopting amendments to the 2021 Municipal Budget to provide funds for administrative offices renovations at Chapin Town Hall.
PLEASE NOTE: COVID-19 protocols will be in place. Social distancing will be observed and those in attendance of the meeting are encouraged to wear a face mask/covering.
Written comments will be accepted up to seven days prior to the hearing. The public is invited to attend and public comment is encouraged. Any person needing special accommodations to participate in the above noticed meeting should contact Town Hall the day before the meeting at 803-345-2444.
