Wellvista is a non-profit organization that provides access to the uninsured to prescription medications thanks to partnerships with pharmaceutical companies that donate medications to bridge the gap for treatment of chronic illnesses.
South Carolina 2-1-1 is your one-stop resource for finding assistance in your local community. We keep a database of a wide variety of service providers including support groups, community clinics, counselors, shelters, food pantries, programs for seniors, and many more agencies in South Carolina. SC Thrive is a statewide nonprofit offering solutions to South Carolinians in need of resources but facing a multitude of barriers. We provide a variety of training and technology to other direct service organizations so they can more effectively help people access these resources. We meet people where they are in life, addressing their needs holistically to move them toward stability, then self- sustainability. SC Help is a program managed by the SC State Housing Authority that provides assistance to qualified homeowners who are having a hard time paying their mortgage because of financial hardship. We are collecting food donations and school supplies in the lobby at Town Hall for the next few weeks to help keep pantry shelves full and help Chapin area students who may need help getting ready for the start of school. Please drop items by for this special collection Monday - Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.
