Zoning
The Town of Chapin adopted a Comprehensive Plan in 2021, to provide town officials and citizens with a general policy guide for planning future growth in and around the Chapin community.
As part of this process, the Town Zoning Administrator is responsible for ensuring a professional and timely review of proposed construction and development plans for the Town. In addition, he oversees compliance with the Town's Zoning Ordinances, to promote public health, safety, morals, convenience, order, appearance, prosperity, and general welfare of the community.
