Lexington County has developed a 220-acre business and technology park near the entrance-way to Chapin and Interstate 26. The Park is substantially complete and will be fully operational in early 2018.
In addition, the Mungo Company is planning a 200-acre residential and commercial complex adjacent to the park. This will provide a work-live-play community that will be attractive to businesses looking to capitalize on Chapin's proximity to the interstate and Lake Murray, the award-winning schools, as well as the productive, skilled workforce in the region.
