The Town of Chapin is conducting a Master Plan for the redevelopment of the former school site adjacent to Chapin Town Hall. The 2021 Comprehensive Plan designates the future land use of the site as part of a Town Center that would serve as a focal point and gathering place for the Greater Chapin Community. The
study area includes multiple properties that currently house the former school, the Chapin Branch Library, former gymnasium and ball fields, former Community Theater, office and storage
buildings.
