We have received several reports of someone using the Chapin Labor Day Festival Facebook page to redirect interested parties to contact them via Facebook Messenger, and then submit payment directly to that individual. This is a scam. Please DO NOT submit payment to anyone without official communication from the Town of Chapin.

The Town of Chapin WILL NOT collect payment via payment apps. Payments for the Labor Day Festival or any other event sponsored by the Town should be made in person at Town Hall via cash, check, credit card. Payment is also accepted via mail.

Again, please do not respond to those requests on the Chapin Labor Day Festival Facebook page. Please contact Town Hall directly for payment questions or festival information.
